Nancy of Aunt Nancy’s Handmade Soaps has a promotion that is a great “come-on”. Instead of saying,” Free Shipping on orders of $00.00, Nancy offers it on a quantity of soap. Not only does she get a larger order, but gets a variety into the customers hands.

We make soaps that are specially formulated to counter the effects of the unlimited sunshine and the drying Sonoran Desert air.

head_inmonitorThis has been a lousy setback! I have been cutoff from the entire world, this website, my email, and even Twitter!

The  stress has been so bad I have wanted to throw this computer across the room, scream, yell, hit my husband. I did not do any of these, but I confess, I did yell.

We live on the coast of Texas in a very  small town. My, soon to be x, AT&T air card will not work here. No signal and my phones  just barely work. So, I have been relying on WiFi which has been made available for this community. It has been broke for the last week. We have had lots of rain, wind and even snow. What this means is the fix-it man would not come, even after everyone pleading, begging, and then threatening. He finally came at 5 pm yesterday. Took him until 2am to get it fixed. Do I feel sorry for him working til the wee hours of the morning? Noooooooo.

Am going today or tomorrow to see about getting a Verizon air card, so I will not ever be in this position again!

Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. Now I will get back to work getting some beautiful soaps spotlighted. Look for them starting Monday.

Using one of the best butters available, Jessica has a quality product in her “Rose Shea Soap”. Made with organic rose hip and lots of shea butter, this soap has the best of quality ingredients.

Scented with Rose Geranium Essential Oil, you have the scent of rose without it being strong.   Dried wild rose petals complete this beautiful soap. Jessica said her soaps are all wrapped in 100% recycled paper. diPalarmobody Rose shea

No, Dianne Early is not a seller of scrumtious desserts but soap! Take a look for yourself at  Dearly Yours.

Kukui & Tamanu -dearly yours southern sudsHer Kukui Nut & Tamanu bar is enhanced with real banana and mango fruit pulp! Kukui Nut Oil protects the skin’s natural moisture barrier and locks in moisture. Tamanu Oil is harvested from the nut of the Pacific Coastal Ati tree. This oil soothes and helps promote healthy looking skin. Add ground hibiscus flowers and the  wonderful scent of Plumeria, and you have a soap that is “scrumptious”.

Dianne has been making cold process soaps for many years.  Her expertise really shows in her creations.

There are many big and expensive shows during the holiday season. That doesn’t make them good. Think about how much you will have to sell just to cover expenses. Ask how many other soap and skin care booths do they have or allow. How are they placed? You don’t want to have your competition right beside you! Is everything handcrafted or are commercial booths allowed? Many times the customers are not customers, but are there to get ideas.

A large show was featured on the news a couple of nights ago. Yes, it draws huge crowds, but can you compete? A semi-famous falling_money[1]actress was shown with multi booths. It was set up counter style with many women sitting there ready to take your money. The actress was outside the booths showing her jewelry. Of course the aisle was crowded. You are set up across from her with no customers. The people are totally focused on jewelry, no one can get by them, and you see people stop and go around your crowded aisle.  Yikes! You just wasted your time and money and are very disappointed.

I always found church and school bazaars are very good. The customer base want to buy to help their school or church. Your rent will be pretty low. If you have to give a percentage, prices can be raised to offset it.  Since these shows are normally all handcrafted items, it will still pay you to check out how many soapmakers are signed up. A good show co-coordinator protects the vendors.

My two cents, hope it helps. Don’t forget to submit you soap to be featured. Working on next week.

For ten years I made soap! My husband and I sold my soaps at First Monday, Canton Tx plus many other shows over the years. I have had a website for many years and know how hard it is to  get your name and soaps seen.  I do not make soaps anymore, but do make products with Shea Butter on my website: Silky Soft Skin Care.

You will not have to send me soaps for a contest, nor will I do a critical review. What will be seen will be the soap you pick to be spotlighted.  A picture, a short description, a link to your site will be included. The description you give me will be used. Partially your words and partially mine.  The whole idea is to promote soapmakers and their soaps.

If you are like me you are sceptical of a site that offers something for free. This is a business venture and I do want to cover expenses and even make a little profit by selling ads. These can be suppliers, craft shows, and even you. If you are a soapmaker and want to advertise on this site, you will have to contact me. I will not solicit nor ask for money from you.

The first two spotlights are ready. Watch for them starting Thursday. If you would like your soap featured, all you have to do is email me the information shown on the “Be Seen” page of this website.

The first soapmaker and her unique soap has been chosen. Watch for the first post coming very soon.

Would you like your site and soap featured here. Judging by the interest so far, this site is going to be very well read and popular. Read about how on the “Be Seen” page and contact me.

What is this site about?

This site is really not about me, but about the many gifted soapers that are out there wanting to get their products known and sold.
My goal is that each day will feature someones new product with description, picture and a link to your website.
This site will grow with your help. When your soap is featured, you will need to contact all of your customers and friends. The more people visit this site the quicker it will be recognized by Google and other search engines. And of course this means the more potential customers for you and your site.
This is a free service for you. There will be ads running on the right side. My goal is to have advertisers that sell supplies to you. To keep this site up and running, I hope you will click on and try out these suppliers.
You also can advertise  your site or product. Prices are very reasonable. See   Advertising on Soaps n Stuff Daily   for information.
A little about me.  I was a soaper for many years and sold my products at craft shows and flea markets. I have also have a website. So, I know how hard it is to get your products known and sold. I do not make soaps anymore, but do still sell Shea Butter on my website Silky Soft Skin Care.
Like most crafters, I enjoy many crafts. I love to make original pieces of jewelry. See at Laughing Dolphin Jewelry.
