Crafts of all kinds are my thing. Off and on for the last 2 years I have played with polymer clay.

While surfing the web, I found  Christi Friesen. Her jewelry, using polymer clay, took my breath away. I always thought that this type of clay was for children.

 Made a few pieces of so-so jewelry with the clay, then put it aside.

Then Christi made the cutest Goblins from Glo in the Dark clay. Dug in my box of clay and found some. I sculpted a few and sent them to my Grandson as a Halloween present.

Deciding I really liked sculpting, I have bought books and lessons. Below are pictures of my attempts.

Now you know I do other things besides sit at my computer all day!!

What is Clique Da Cour? Tiffany is a clothing designer worth watching. If you have one of her designs, it won’t be long before you will own something from a famous designer.

Take a look, I think you will agree.

Tiffany designs and sews all of her original works. I see on her Etsy shop that she has branched out in a very different direction with her dog treats!  This is not unusuable as most craft artist, love and need to master more than one art.

You probably know that I find many of the soap and craft artist spotlighted from my followers on Twitter.

This morning I came across Bubblin Bath and Crafts Forum.  I recognized two of the moderators, that have been spotlighted on Soaps n Stuff Daily. One of my spotlights recently was on Natures Art from New Mexico.  And in March BeachBabiesBath was featured.  These two plus a lady named Kellie have started this unique forum.

This forum is a great place to go to ask a question on crafts, soapmaking, etc. or just want to vent your frustrations. Easy to join, I just did. You can go on as a visitor and read the post, but to get the full benefits and use, join. Bubblin Bath and Crafts

I received this as a press release a couple of days ago.

I just wanted to let you know that with the help of many generous donors we are going to be able to donate 5,000 bars of soap to the Canadian Forces for Christmas this year.  Our biggest sponsor was Voyageur Soap & Candle who took this on as their corporate sponsorship for 2010 and donated over 4,000 bars themselves.You can read all about it on our website – www.MalaspinaSoapFactory.ca

Malaspina Soap Factory deserves heartfelt thanks  for taking on this project and making it such a huge success. And, it is only July!

It seems there are going to be a lot of Canadian Military men will be clean and have baby soft skin! 

Voyageur Soap and Candle Co really helped this project to make its goal with the donation of 4000 bars of soap. That is a lot of soap!

It seems this company started out like all of us as a homebased business makeing candles. They have now grown into a large soap and candle supply company. NEW! Now Soaps n Stuff Daily is going to feature other types of craft artist. Don’t worry, you soap makers will still be my primary focus, but a variation every now and then keeps life interesting.

It must be fun and a great way to express your artistic impressions by making these beautiful candle creations.
